Carnival Tournament in Kreuth:

It is always something special for rider and horse to compete in a show held in Kreuth, Europe’s largest horse show facility which features an enormous riding arena at its center.

The competition hall with its amazing riding ring measuring 40 x 80 m (131 x 262 ft.) seats 5000 spectators, but equally as impressive are the 23 tests, with 13 tests alone in the M - S categories.

In their first competition, an M class dressage test, Stefan Puschmann and SAN PRIMERO were narrowly defeated by the Olympic rider Ulla Salzgeber.

(SAN PRIMERO is a 6 year old stallion bred right here at Quadriga, by SAN AMOUR / Donnerhall / Pik Bube, out of a full sister to DON SCHUFRO.)

Bright and early the next day at 8 am, the pair were the first starter in a dressage horse M test, and with multiple scores of 8+ in the movement categories, they left the second-placed team quite a bit behind, and enjoyed a well-deserved victory round!!

But also our “darling of the stallion barn,” DON CISMO, was allowed to come along. Similarly as in Warendorf, he was pretty excited about the whole scene. After two 3rd places in M tests for 6-9 year olds, our just 7-year old stallion was awarded first reserve in a very strong field during a S class test on the last day.

( DON CISMO is also bred here by Quadriga, a son of DIAMOND HIT / CAMPARI / AKZENT II, out of our elite mare COSMOPOLITAN.)

With his own mare, EVITA, Stefan Puschmann competed in the S Class/Prix St. Georges, achieving a 3rd place with almost 69%.

Congratulation to the rider!
