At 2:20, it was time! A dark bay/black handsome boy was welcomed into the world without any complications! His sire is our foundation stallion, Dr. Jackson, by Dream of Glory / Rubinstein, who is currently the breeding index highest stallion among all the Southern German Horse Breeding Associations.
His dam, the state premium and elite mare, Jacqueline, by Jazzman / Campari / Akzent, comes out of the Waldhexe lines, one of the most important bloodlines in Oldenburg. Her sister, Diamantina, is internationally very successful at the Grand Prix level. Her brother, Don Cismo, is scheduled to compete for the 2013 qualification of the Bundeschampionship.
The 5-year old full brother of this newborn colt is currently in training for the Bundeschampionship qualification, and his four full sisters are either broodmares and/or in different training levels here at Quadriga.
Oldenburger Premium Foal
The Australian Equestrian Federation nominated the rider Maree Tomkinson as well as her horse, Diamantina, for the sport award in the categories Horse and Rider, respectively. We are very proud about this nomination as Diamantina was bred right here at Quadriga.

The annual Sport Achievement Awards Night will be held on Tuesday 30 April 2013. This year’s event will be held at a new venue – Le Montage in Lilyfield, Sydney.
The show organized by the breeding farm “Gestüt am Willisch“ in Lungkwitz near Dresden is traditionally the first show of the year for the Quadriga team.
This year, it was also the first start of our rider, Maja Weber, who joined the Quadriga team in October after finishing her training as a professional rider (Bereiter FN).
And in her first start, Maja successfully beat the competition and took first place in the victory lap! In the most difficult test of the show, an M-dressage level test, Maja achieved with Jazzy the highest score!
Jazzy is by the Dutch movement maker Jazzman, out of a Rubinstein dam.
But another lady rider could also excel with her horse that is on offspring of one of our stallions. Angelika Miethe, the multi-talented rider, breeder and owner was not only busy organizing the tournament, but also actively participating in it.
And she is quite successful in multi-tasking as a win in the L dressage test with her horse, Douceur (by Dr. Jackson) showed!
With her second horse, Joli Jument (by our stallion Jazz Rubin), she was took third place in the same test and a second place in an A dressage competition.
Congratulations to the two lady riders!
It starts again!
It’s been 7 months since the last foal was born in 2012, now the wait for us breeders is over!
This morning around 5 am, the first foal of the year 2013 entered the word, totally uncomplicated and ready to go!
It is a gorgeous filly by Ron Rubin, out of Diva Rubina (Rubinstein / Inschallah / Chronist). For the breeding experts and pedigree connoisseurs:
The little lady combines two of the internationally most important dressage lines in her pedigree! Her sire, Ron Rubin, is out of the full sister of the bronze medalist winner, Don Schufro. Her dam, Diva Rubina, by Dr. Jackson, is out of a full sister to the Olympic and signature stallion, Rohdiamant.
We will look forward watching this little lady growing up with one of the finest international pedigrees!
And now I am an Oldenburger Premium Foal!
