Seven full siblings out or one mare! All by Dr. Jackson, out of our foundation mare, Sandrina Hit I, by Sandro Hit / Ravallo / Calypso.
And here is De la Sandrina III, another full sister joining this large family! For her dam, this gorgeous, modern, long-legged filly is her ninth foal!
Her oldest sister, De la Sandrina I, was a finalist at the Oldenburger State Championship as a 4-year old, and as a 5-year old she double-qualified for the Bundeschampionship in Warendorf!
I am already an Oldenburger Premium Foal!
Born lucky on Sunday morning at 7 am! A beautiful, long-legged, dark bay filly by Ron Rubin, out Sandrina Hit II, entered the world - easy, uncomplicated, and without any assistance. The full pedigree of this beauty reads as follows: Ron Rubin / Sandro Hit / Ravallo / Calypso
Oldenburger Premium Foal
And we have some more news about today‘s other newborn foal:
After being a bit restless, walking around in circles in her roomy birthing stall, suddenly at 3:30 am the mare was in a hurry and all went rather quickly. Settling down, a couple of pushes, a quick assist to make sure the legs were correctly positioned and …tahdah…a little lady entered the world.
She is a Dr. Jackson daughter, out of Jazz Primera by Jazz Rubin / Donnerhall / Pik Bube / Unkenruf.
This filly is one of the very rare, dark chestnut-colored foals by Dr. Jackson, and her granddam is the full sister to the Olympic and Grand Prix stallion, Don Schufro!
In the S category, a St. Georg Special, Stefan and Jazz Rubin missed first place by exactly 3 points. The pair scored 839 points, while the later champion, Ute Beelitz, had 941 points with Lord Mc Kinley.
Here is the ride by Stefan and Jazz Rubin:
Congratulations!
Ron Rubin / Dr. Jackson / Sandro Hit – that’s the impressive pedigree of the long-legged filly that was welcomed into the world on midnight Saturday – happy and healthy! For her 4-year old dam, Diva Sandrina, it was her first foal! And what a beauty she is!
Her sire, Ron Rubin, as well as his dam, Diva Rubina, and the granddam, Sandrina Hit II, were bred right here at Quadriga. Of course, her grandsire, Dr. Jackson and the great-granddam, Ronja, are also right here at Quadriga!
Oldenburger Premium Foal
Stress and Joy Galore!
Within less than 30 minutes apart, two foals were welcomed here on Sunday afternoon!
A dark bay, long legged filly by Dr. Jackson, out of Rosaria (Rosario / Ravallo / Calypso) . . .
. . and a very modern chestnut colt by Jazzman, out of De la Ronja II (Dr. Jackson / Ravallo / Calypso).
He is now a Oldenburger Premium Foal!
Both dams are direct descendants from one of our foundation mares, the now 18-year old Ronja by Ravallo / Calypso / Wendekreis, who won her mare performance test and was a 1c winner at the Federal Mare Show.
