Win in the Qualification Test for the Bundeschampionship!
At the State Dressage Championship in the Thuringian Grabsleben, Stefan Puschmann delivered with SAN PRIMERO a picture-perfect round which put the pair ahead of the competition in first place in this qualification test. Our chief rider and trainer received with this handsome 5-year old stallion (San Amour/ Donnerhall/Pik Bube), who was bred right here at Quadriga, a final result of 8.0 and punched his ticket for the Bundeschampionship in Warendorf.
This qualification was only the third show for the brilliant dark bay stallion, whose dam, Donna Primera, is the full sister to the Olympic stallion DON SCHUFRO (Andreas Helgstrand).
Let’s go to Warendorf !
" SEZU " is here!
At the end of a very good breeding year, the Quadriga team was waiting for two more foals by the young Danish top sire, SEZUAN.
The first foal arrived last night! A beautiful colt by the name of SEZU, whose pedigree is quite remarkable: Chestnut colt by SEZUAN, out of elite mare ROYAL RUBINA by RUBINSTEIN / INSCHALLAH AA / CHRONIST.
Both sire and dam lines are proof that world-class breeding is not done by chance, but with a lot of thought and know-how!
SEZUAN’s sire is the twice Danish winner stallion, Blue Horse Zack, who has already produced exceptional highlights in breeding and sport.
SEZUAN’s dam is the gold medalist mare, Bøgegårdens DON ROMINA, who was awarded Mare of the Year in Denmark.
The sire of the dam is Blue Horse DON SCHUFRO, who won with Andreas Helgstrand the team bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong.
SEZUAN`s granddam is the Danish bronze medalist mare Bøgegårdens LAINA
The dam side of the foal is equally as impressive:
His dam is one of our foundation mares, the Oldenburger elite mare, ROYAL RUBINA. She is the youngest full sister of the two Oldenburger signature sires, ROHDIAMANT and ROYAL DIAMOND.
For many years, ROHDIAMANT as well as his sire RUBINSTEIN, were considered among the very best dressage sires in the world. He won his licensing, was Bundeschampion and successful at the Grand Prix and World Cup Freestyle level. His offspring include about 50 licensed stallions and more than 600 successful sport horses, all the way up to Olympic level.
ROYAL RUBINA is the dam of our licensed Oldenburger stallion, JAZZ RUBIN, who won both his stallion performance tests and is consistently among the best top 3% of the German FN Breeding Index.
JAZZ RUBIN‘s sire, JAZZMAN, is one of the highest breeding index sons of the Dutch top sire, JAZZ, which makes JAZZ RUBIN a highly interesting Dutch-German bloodline combination. This combination has already produced a licensed stallion and several highly successful sport horses
In addition, SEZU’s dam produced several state premium and elite mares as well as sport horses that excel with phenomenal rideability . . . Some were already successful as 7-year olds at the S-Intermediaire I level.
At the Show for Young Horses held at the State Breeding Farm Moritzburg on May 29, 2013, the Quadriga riders were once again successful several tests!
In the first test (A level dressage), Maja Weber won third place with RUBY ROSE (by Ron Rubin). With SAN FABIA (by San Amour and bred by us), she took fourth place.
The next challenge was an L level dressage test, and Maja was again successful with SAN FABIA, taking third place!
In the most difficult test of the day, an M level dressage test, Stefan Puschmann rode the 6-year old stallion DON CISMO (by Diamond Hit) in his very first show start of the year (DON CISMO was bred by us here at Quadriga). The judges were so impressed with the quality of rider and horse that they awarded the pair a score of 8.5 for walk and trot, and an 8.0 for the canter. This was enough for second place!!
In addition, the rider/breeder/owner, Angelika Miethe, was also successful! With DOUCEUR (by Dr. Jackson) she took second place in the Dressage Horses L test and a fourth place in the Dressage Horses M test!
Congratulations to all the riders for a job well done!
Four Foals in Three Nights!
Nr. 17: Picture-perfect modern filly by Dr. Jackson, out of the state premium and elite mare, Diamantica (Diamond Hit / Campari / Akzent).
This dark bay “ballerina with two white socks” has the Waldhexe line in her pedigree, one of the most important lines in Oldenburg. And on the dam side, you find three generations of elite mares in a row!
Her dam, Diamantica, by the Grand-Prix Olympics nominated stallion, Diamond Hit, is the full sister to the 1 c “Brilliantring” mare, Diamantina, an internationally successful Grand Prix winner, which was also bred by us.
She is also the full sister to our licensed 6-year old stallion, Don Cismo. Her granddam, our exceptional foundation mare, Cosmopolitan, was State Champion in Rastede and took fourth place at the Bundeschampionship finals.
Well, I also plan to go to the international dressage arena! But for now, I started with being a Premium and elite Foal!“
Nr. 18: Long-legged filly by Dr. Jackson out of Jazz Queen by Jazzman / Don Primero / World Cup.
The full sister to the dam, Jazzqueen II, was champion of the five-year olds at the state championship in Baden-Württemberg and three times at the Bundeschampionship as a 4-, 5-, and 6-year old. As a 6 year old, she was a Bundeschampionhip finalist.
Her full brother, Jazzdream, is a licensed premium stallion.
The granddam, our state premium and elite mare, Dream Time, was winner of her mare performance test with a score of 8.25. She was the best mare at the Southern Germany Horse Championship and went to the Bundeschampionship as a 4-year old.
Nr. 19: Filly by Dr. Jackson, out of the state premium and elite mare, Ronja, by Ravallo / Calypso / Wendekreis.
His dam, our foundation mare, Ronja, was winner of her mare performance test with a total score of 8.5! She also was second reserve winner mare (1c) at the Federal Mare Show.
I plan to follow in the footsteps of my successful mother! I am already an Oldenburger premium foal, and they say I have excellent movements!
Nr. 20: Black filly by Jazzman, out of our young mare, De la Fabia, by De la Manga / Fiedermark / Worldchamp.
This pretty little girl is the first foal for her dam, De la Fabia. Her granddam, our Rhinelander state premium/elite mare, Fürstin Fabia, by Fiedermark was in the final round of the Rhineland Elite Mare Show at Castle Wickrath. She is the full sister of the Bundeschampion, Fürst Fabio, which Hubertus Schmidt once enthusiastically called “the best horse I have ever ridden,” (which had the effect that the stallion was quickly picked up by his owner Cesar Parra, so he could ride him himself).
I showed them at the Oldenburger Foal show, what I am made of! Premium Foal, of course!
Very in the morning on Pentecost Monday, this dark bay, long-legged, gorgeous colt by Bellissimo entered the world!
His impressive pedigree reads like this: Colt by Bellissimo, out of Donna Rubina by Dr. Jackson / Fürst Heinrich / Rubinstein / Inschallah.
His sire, Belissimo, was Bundeschampion, finalist at the World Championship for young dressage horses, and successful at the Grand-Prix level.
To learn more about his grandsire, Dr. Jackson, currently the Southern German stallion with the highest FN breeding index, see the menu “Stallions” below.
The colt’s great-grandsire, Fürst Heinrich, was winner of his stallion performance test and World Champion of the 5-year old dressage horses.
Oldenburger Premium Foal
On the dam side of Bravissimo, we have three elite mares in a row!
The great-granddam, our Oldenburger foundation mare, Royal Rubina, by Rubinstein / Inschallah / Chronist, deserves special attention. She is also the dam of our licensed stallion, Jazz Rubin, who won twice his stallion performance test and is the sire of several highly successful sport horses and state premium/elite mares. She is the full sister to the Oldenburger top sires, Rohdiamant and Royal Diamond.
